Art from the Heart was a workshop run by Alex and Evie Mowbray. Work was created after being presented with trigger words. There was a spiritual element to the process as an artist I had to go with the initial thoughts almost automatic and try not to allow intellect and problem-solving skills to intervene.

It was not based on art skill it was strongly focused on the emotion. The artworks could even be a stick man or a scribble. It is more about the unknown meaning. The works and interpretations had visible impact on the creators. Exposing encouraging and positive insight into the artists personal situations. I would encourage anyone who is curious to know something of themselves to give one of these sessions a go.
